ARCHITECTURAL GROUP – Summer 2010

All meetings are held in West Chiltington Church Hall, at 2pm.

Thursday April 8^th.

 We will look at a variety of videos on Norman and Gothic Architecture.

Meeting in St Mary’s Church Hall, West Chiltington at 2pm.

Thursday May 13^th.

 Visit to London led by Tony Dickerson to see Arnos Grove Station and other Art deco stations on the Piccadilly Line and also to visit Alexandra Palace.  We will leave Pulborough Station on the 8.53  train using a travelcard returning in the early evening.  The train will leave Billingshurst Station at 9.00  Please note that the introduction of the Summer timetable may mean that train times are slightly different.

Thursday June 10^th

Visit to Sompting Church and the Old and New Shoreham Churches and the Marlipins Museum.  Meet at Sompting Church at 10.30 am.

Wednesday July 21^st.

Visit to Goddards , a Lutyens House near Shere, Surrey at 3pm preceded by a walk round Shere. Meet at 11am in Shere. Further details, including coffee and lunch will be announced later.

All members are welcome to join us on these visits, but the visit to Goddards is very limited in numbers and priority will be given to members of the Architecture Group and it is very unlikely that places will be available generally.
