French Groups

Storrington French Group Convener: Jenny Waterhouse

The classes are continuing at Storrington. We meet every week at 10.30 am on a Thursday.

Pulborough French Group Convener: Penny Martin. We meet on the first and fourth Mondays of each month initially.

French Groups 2010

The Storrington French Group

The Storrington French group meets on Thursdays at 10.30 am. We read articles and translate them, listen to tapes and have conversations. Sometimes members of the group bring items of interest such as magazine articles, or some French grammar or vocabulary. A lively French lady visits us once a month for conversation. She helps us with pronunciation and keeps us up to date with current French expressions

The Pulborough French Group

The Pulborough French group is going well with varied conversational topics challenging our ability to express ourselves in French off the cuff. Topics range from regional, national and international news items to personal experiences and opinions. We have used extracts from ‘Ouest France’, a French regional paper, for reading and comprehension practice and also welcome members’ prepared contributions.

We meet on the 1^st and 4^th Mondays of each month at 2.15pm for an hour, or longer if the conversation is flowing well.
