Meetings are held at 2pm on the third Monday of
each month at Brinksole House in Kingspit Lane, Petworth,
(unless otherwise stated). All U3A members are invited: anyone
who needs a lift please call John Fitch . We aim to have a wide
range of topics using the skills of members and those of
visiting speakers.
Our December meeting was cancelled due to the ice
and snow underfoot: we were delighted that Rosa was able to
carry forward her talk on ”Waste Food,” to our January meeting.
The following three monthly meetings were all addressed by our
members with our usual eclectic range of subjects and were both
enlightening and enjoyable.

Monday 20th June
Carried forward from January when
Rosa
presented her delayed “Waste Food”
“ A miscellany”. I will prepare three
short pieces on items which I have noted in the scientific
press. Currently I am considering (i) blood and blood vessels in
dinosaurs; (ii) the plans for the new European weather
satellites; (iii) results from CERN.
I would be
very happy to have other members make contributions on these or
other topics.
I hope we will also plan the Autumn programme.
